Prom is right around the corner! No idea where to start prepping? Here at Silvana Dayspa & Salon, we came up with a simple Prom Prep Checklist to get you ready for your night.
2-4 Months Before
We know, we know. There’s still plenty of time! But who wants to rush to find a dress the weekend before? About 2 – 4 months before, make sure you start to browse around the shops. Finding that perfect dress doesn’t come easy but we’re here to help. Here are some local dress shops you can have a look around.

3-1 Months Before
What is a beautiful dress without the right accessories? Anywhere between 3 to 1 month(s) before, you’re going to want to find the ideal jewelry to compliment your dress, the right shoes and even a handy purse. Having already found the perfect dress, you can use that to see what pieces work best and help your new look stand out.
2 Months Before
Here is one of the most important steps in making sure your prom day goes by as smoothly as possible – scheduling your hair and makeup! Make sure to schedule that out a good 2 months ahead of time to ensure that the salon has the time available for you. As you can imagine, they book up fast during Prom Season. 1 Month Before
A month before is when you would want to start your new routines to help you prep for that night. If you’re looking to whiten your teeth, give the new charcoal powder teeth whitening a try!
1-2 Weeks Before
Getting a facial is a great step to take to make sure your skin is flawless night of. We recommend 1 – 2 weeks before to come in for a relaxing facial. It helps cleanse your skin of any impurities and gives it a chance to detox before prom.
1 Week to 4 Days Before
Speaking of flawless, who doesn’t want that bronzed skin that help fits everything together night of!? Come in a week before to get our Summer Sun Glow. It’s a chance to exfoliate your skin with a gentle salt scrub, some time under our Vichy Rain Shower, and applying the bronzer to achieve that sun kissed glow. For the finishing touches, our brow waxing/tint and lash tint can help ensure your brows and lashes are set to perfection!
Day of Prom!
It’s finally here! The day of your prom. After spending months preparing for what’s going to be a great night, making sure you’re on time to your appointments help guarantee a smooth day.
Now all that’s left to do is get ready and enjoy your night!
